Keel was founded in 2021 by three former executives — CEO, CTO, and CPO — from Echo, Europe's fastest-growing online pharmacy, later acquired by Pharmacy2U. At Echo, the team built and operated custom fulfillment software to ship 50,000 medicines to 600,000 customers daily, scaling the business to $130 million in annual revenue. They experienced first-hand how off-the-shelf systems couldn't keep pace, so they built Keel — the platform they wished had existed.
