Keel (Planko Ltd) is a company registered in the United Kingdom, based in Altrincham, Cheshire, with a team hiring in London. It was founded in 2021 by the former CEO, CTO and CPO of Echo, Europe's fastest-growing online pharmacy, later acquired by Pharmacy2U. At Echo, the founders built custom software to run operations shipping 50k medicines to 600k customers daily, growing the business to $130m annual revenue, because off-the-shelf tools could not meet the needs of the highly regulated pharmacy world. In 2024 Keel raised $6m in seed funding from leading European investors Earlybird and LocalGlobe.
