System Collapse!

Welcome, traveller.

You're here because you've come across a mysterious pack of cards and you're wondering…

How to Play

Players: 2-5 | Time: 10-20 mins | Ages: 12+

Setup:

  1. Remove all System Collapse cards and Workarounds from the deck

  2. Deal 1 Workaround to each player

  3. Deal 4 more cards to each player from the remaining deck

  4. Shuffle the System Collapse cards back into the deck (use 1 fewer than the number of players)

  5. Put remaining Workarounds back in the deck

  6. Shuffle. You're ready.

On your turn:

  1. Play as many action cards as you want (or none)

  2. Draw one card from the deck - you MUST draw to finish your turn

If you draw a System Collapse:

  • Play a Workaround to survive → put the System Collapse back ANYWHERE in the deck (top, middle, bottom - your choice)

  • No Workaround? You're out.

Last player standing wins.

Guide to Card Types

System Collapse: Draw one and you're out. Unless you have a Workaround.

Workaround: Cancels a System Collapse. Then secretly put the System Collapse card back in the deck.

Action Cards: Play before you draw to mess with others or protect yourself.

Combo Cards: Collect pairs to unlock special powers.
